Generating Ideas Through Process
This module explores the process of digital fabrication and parametric modelling.
There are two tasks within the module, which each represents a way of idea generation process.
Task A
Task A explore a basic of digital modelling mainly focusing on the additive and subtractive process, also explored the potential of its functionality in terms of the permeability, porosity and lighting effects.
Task B
In task B, based on the model generated from task A, by sectioning and lazercutting, more potentials in terms of forms and functionality are revealed. This module also demonstrates a balance between form and constructability.
